Inspired by an international movement of more than 100,000 people, Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) organized last night the football game that was a part of activities devoted to the Fare Football People.
Public officers and representatives of NGOs played the football jointly with Roma in the framework of the project “Let’s play together”.

Red and white team played, and the red ones celebrated the result 10:9. The players were: Aleksandar Obradović, Agim Gaši, Boris Raonić, Edin Đoković, Elvis Beriša, Edin Balja, Edin Eminović, Dijamant Pajazitaj, Marko Čanović, Milan Radović, Mileta Radovanić, Serdjan Baftijari, Srdan Kosović i Zoran Vujačić.
Valon Dasharami, Secretary at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Rabii Hantouli, Ambassador of Palestine in Montenegro, were the judges.

The Football People action week is a football-focused social campaign organised by the Fare network in October aimed at tackling all barriers that exclude people and communities. We want to remind that Roma community in our society is excluded and that the ethnical distance towards Roma is causing concern.
We want to remind that between 5 and 19 October, professional clubs and players, the grassroots and amateur side of the game and thousands of others on social media celebrate the power of football to unite people and celebrate the difference. During 2016, more than two thousands activities were organized in Europe. More than 100 thousand were directly involved. YIHR is part of this movement and we are happy that we can rely on them and celebrate together.

Sincerely,

Milan Radović
Project Coordinator
