Inspired by an international movement of more than 100,000 people, Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) organized last night the football game that was a part of activities devoted to the Fare Football People.

On the occasion of International Day of the Support to Victims of Torture, Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Serbia, will present the report “Rights of Persons Deprived of Liberty in the Prison System in Serbia”.
Regional Conference „Prevention of Torture on te Balkan – The Best Practice and Experience” will take place in Tirana, on 23 and 24 June 2016.
At the session on 09 February 2016, Administrative court rendered a verdict on our lawsuit, by which it canceled a decision on allocation of funds of the Fund for the protection and exercising of minority rights for 2015, 500.000 EUR were allocated.
Improving protection from torture, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishing in Montenegro, contribution to faster and more efficient implementation of recommendations from international expert bodies, and improvement of cooperation between public institutions and civil sector, aiming to increase the level of respect of human rights of persons in closed institutions, are goals of the Memorandum on Cooperation. This Memorandum has been signed by the Ministry of Interior-Police Directorate, Supreme Public Prosecution Office, and nongovernmental foundation YIHR.
On the ocassion of 26 June – International Day of the support to victims of torture, partner organizations – Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHRMN), the Albanian Rehabilitation Cebter for Trauma & Torture (ARCT), Youth Initiative for Humna Rights Serbia (YIHRSR) and International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims IRCT invite competent institutions in Montenegro, Albania and Serbia to respect the right to rehabilitation of victims of torture and to fight efficiently against impunity.
Partner organization YIHRMNE, ARCT, YIHRSR and IRCT organize from 11 until 13 February the training named „Monitoring of facilities for deprivation of liberty conducted by civil society“ as the activity envisaged by the project „Building free of torture and impunity societies in Western Balkan“, supported by the EU. The training takes place in Human Resources Management Authoruty in Jovana Tomasevica street, no.2A.
