The Program Director, Aleksandra Vukčević, participated in the conference “Shaping young people future in the SEE”, organized by the Southeast Europe Association (Südosteuropa-Gesellschaft – SOG), held in Cologne from 5 to 7 September.
During the panel discussion, together with other participants, they discussed the position and perspective of young people in the Western Balkans.
It was pointed out that it is necessary to work on improving the conditions for youth employment, which is one of the main causes of large migrations of young people from the region, together with an outdated education system that does not meet current market needs.
The discussion continued during the next day, where the round table discussed the given topics from the perspectives of the participants from the Balkan countries.
